Body Lore:
Bones & Belonging
A course for connecting deeply with body, land and ancestors through movement and land art.
Body Lore: Bones & Belonging is a six month online course devoted to transforming intergenerational grief and trauma into agency and resilience through movement and creative practice.
Together, we will engage in a process of sifting through our personal ontologies (ways of being) and epistemologies (ways of knowing), gently weaving together a more holistic understanding of ourselves.
The course follows a process of metamorphosis inspired by epigenetics, inviting us to reconnect with the ancestral wisdom and resilience held within our tissues. Through movement practices that attend to specific mystical anatomies we will explore new possibilities for how our innate intelligence may express itself both in life and art.
